Dr Richards (60), Capetonian, has a wealth of experience in the public and private sector. He progressed from a clothing factory worker to a professional company director of private and publicly listed companies. He serves as an international consultant on matters relative to social impact and reconciliation. Ruben works extensively with the Khoi and San indigenous communities facilitating healing and cultural restoration. The initiative by the Trust is to cut across cultural, economic and class divides and to provide a platform for women and men to stand together and to speak out against domestic violence, abuse and rape in the community.
